Kart Accessories

Perhaps the most important kart accessories that you will require are those relating to safety. Your go kart is designed to be easy to navigate and safe, but that doesn’t mean accidents don’t happen.

For safety, you will need the following at minimum: a full-face helmet, a driving suit (this is essentially abrasion resistant overalls), gloves and driving boots (your ankle must be covered for safety).

Beyond safety concerns, there are a wide variety of kart accessories available. These tend to be more mechanical, and you will need to know about them if you are building or customizing your own go kart. You can also install such things as a grab handle or a water bottle holder, depending on what your kart needs.
